SHIPPING POLICY

These are our standard shipping methods, Shipping options and our returns policy. If you have any questions about this or anything else on this site please use the Contact button at the top of the page.

 

Shipping costs are calculated by the weight and size of your order so it is difficult to provide an exact quote for any order until you are ready to check-out, but the following should help give you a rough idea as to the costs. On checkout, you will be provided with a number of basic options, depending on what you have ordered, how urgently you need it and where it will ship.

Shipping Costs

The table below should provide a guide to how much a particular item (or items) will cost to ship based on the factors described above. It is not possible to be 100% accurate as the weight of the wood varies by variety and even by batch.

under 100g - roughly up to 3 pen blanks (depending on species) - £2.30

100g to 250g -Up to 5 pens or up to 6 pen blanks - £2.91

250g to 500g - Up to 10 pen blanks - £3.52

up top 2Kg - 10 heavy-weight wood blanks - £4.19

Shipping Options

Wherever possible we offer three options for shipping – a budget option, a standard (and recommended) option and an express service.

Economy Shipping

If cost is a priority over speed we also offer a budget option. These budget options are just as reliable as our other shipping methods, they will simply take longer to arrive, but typically less than a week.

For smaller items, this will simply be Second Class post, but for larger parcels we will use a courier.

Standard Shipping

The standard shipping is our recommended option for most situations. For anything other than large items (things that fit into Royal Mail’s ‘Large Letter’ class) this will be First Class Post. This method should typically arrive within one or two business days

Express

If you are in a hurry to get your order we can ship it express. For large Letter items we use Royal Mail Guaranteed by 1PM the next day service (if ordered before 2pm Monday to Friday). These services are tracked and the parcel will need to be signed for.

International Orders

Sorry, but due to restrictions in shipping bare timber products it is not possible to export our wood blanks outside of the UK.

GUARENTEE, RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the product and we will fully refund the cost when it is received back at Tessellata. Returns should be shipped to the following address:

Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging.
