Zebrano - Resin Stabilised - Standard Pen Blank
Zebrano (Microberlinia brazzavillensis), also called African Zebrawood, is a light brown or cream colour with dark blackish brown streaks vaguely resembling a zebra’s stripes.
Zebrano has a coarse texture and open pores, so very sharp tools are needed to turn the wood. A sanding sealer is recommended when finishing.
This blank has been vacuum stabilised with a polymer resin to increase its hardness, strength and resilience.

Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 145mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 5.75").
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
