Utile - Standard Pen Blank
Utile (Entandophragma utile), very similar in appearance to sapele, utile is initially a pinkish-brown when cut but darkens to a rich red-brown colour with age. The timber turns well and can be polished to a lustrous sheen.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 145mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 5.75").
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
