Pear - Dip-Pen Blank
Wood from the Pear fruit tree (Pyrus communis) is a pale pink to red-brown colour with a smooth, close grain.
Pear is moderately dense and is easy to turn. It can be polished to a very high sheen.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 200mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 8"), ideally suited to dip ink pens.
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
