Niangon - Standard Pen Blank
A wood blank for pen turning cut from Niangon (Tarrietia densiflora), also known as Ogoue, from Africa.
Very similar to Mahogany, this is a cream to reddish-brown timber with an open pore structure.
Works well and turns easily. The open pore structure is ideal for filling with decorative waxes.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 145mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 5.75").
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
