Laburnum - Standard Pen Blank
A wood blank for pen turning cut from Laburnum (Laburnum anagyroides), also known as Golden Chain, Aubour, Goldregen, from Europe.
A yellow-green timber which will darken to golden brown with age. Straight grained with an attractive fleck.
Hard and dense but easy to turn and can be polished to a high lustre.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 145mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 5.75").
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
