Jatoba - Dip-Pen Blank
Jatoba (Hymenaea courbari) - also known as Courbaril, Locust or Brazilian Cherry. Jatoba is an orange brown to biscuit coloured wood that darkens to a mellow mid-brown with age.
Jatoba has a close dark course-textured grain, it is quite dense and has a blunting effect on tools

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 200mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 8"), ideally suited to dip ink pens.
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
