Iroko - Dip-Pen Blank
Iroko (Chlorophora excelsa), a golden orange-brown wood from Central Africa. When first cut, the wood is a light to mid yellow-brown coloured, but this darkens with age to a rich mid to dark brown.
The wood is moderately dense and has a moderate blunting effect on tools, but once finished it can be polished to a high lustre.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 200mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 8"), ideally suited to dip ink pens.
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
