Indian Rosewood (Dark) - Standard Pen Blank
Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia) is one of the classic woodworking timbers - a deep red-brown with darker purple-brown bands. The wood turns well and can be polished to a high sheen.
Rosewood is sadly considered under threat, so the timber or products made from it cannot be exported - this timber is from old stock, imported before the ban was introduced so is legal to sell in the UK.
