Ceylon Satinwood - Standard Pen Blank
Ceylon Satinwood (Chloroxylon swietenia), also called East Indian Satinwood is a hard, dense timber that is ideal for turning. The wood is a pale lemon colour when cut, but matures into a rich golden colour and can be polished to a high, satin finish.

Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 145mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 5.75").
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
