Brazilian Tulipwood - Standard Pen Blank
Brazilian Tulipwood (Dalbergia frutescens) also called Pau Rosa, is not related to American Tulipwood but is part of the Rosewood family.
The timber has an attractive yellow, orange and red banded pattern. It is heavy and dense and requires sharp tools, but can be finished to a very high polish.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 145mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 5.75").
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
