African Rosewood - Dip-Pen Blank
African Rosewood (Guibourtia coleosperma) is a pink to mid-reddish-brown wood with darker well figured grain a little lighter than Indian Rosewood.
This is a heavy, dense wood, but easy to work with sharp tools. It polishes to a high lustre, emphasising the grain.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 19 x 19 x 200mm (0.75 x 0.75 x 8"), ideally suited to dip ink pens.
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
